Our Philosophy

Our passion is creating weddings that feel authentic, heartfelt, inspiring, and grounding. Our favorite celebrations highlight your deep connection and community and are full of joy. We feel that every couple’s wedding design should not only be beautiful, but wholeheartedly YOU. After all, no two love stories are the same, so why should your wedding look like someone else’s? 

Sustainability is also a core value of our work here at Grounded Events. A wedding is the beginning of your marriage, so we strive to help couples incorporate their values and hopes into the wedding day. We know so many couples are passionate about sustainability, but might not know how to incorporate it into their celebration. We strive to fill that knowledge gap and empower our couples to harness about the impact of their wedding for good.

We also believe that every couple, inclusive of race, gender, sexual orientation, and religion, deserves the wedding of their dreams and to feel loved and supported throughout the planning process. That means that we always try to work with vendors who feel the same way, and especially love to work with LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and women-owned businesses. After all, we want every couple to be surrounded by a vendor team and community that is stoked to be a part of their wedding. 

Finally, we know that the best designs come when we get to know our clients like friends, so we try to keep the planning process fun and personal. Plus, we’ve found that this is also the best way to help you feel as stress-free as possible throughout, since you’ll know that you’ll be taken care of by someone who gets you. Being engaged is a special time of your life so you should get to sit back, enjoy it, and stay focused on all the exciting and emotional moments while we do the heavy lifting!
